“I have a friend that works in Shoes,” said Mark, one of my fellow tour group members in Tokyo. “Whenever he wanted to know what people in New York and Paris would be wearing 4 months from now, he’d send people to Toyko.” It’s weird to think of Japan has being a fashion epicenter rivaling that of Italy or France, but it’s true. I’ve never seen so many fully styled pedestrians at one time – all the men wear pointed toed shoes and most are completely styled.

Check out the pics I took while roaming around Kyoto via Man of the Hour Magazine.
