There are so many cool and stylish gladiator sandals out there for women. I see them all the time, but for some reason there aren’t that many for men.

I’ve never been a huge fan of sandals to begin with. My parents tried to get me into the Tivas, but they didn’t really stick.  Other than flip flops, I’ve only ever really loved gladiator sandals. They are a must have for any one interested in fashion. It’s one of those pieces that can actually be worn off the runway and onto the street.

I’ve been having the toughest time finding a pair that actually suit my tastes. Some brands and designers have their own versions of them, but most aren’t truly gladiators. In order for me to consider a sandal a gladiator, the straps have to at least wrap around some of the leg about the ankle. If it doesn’t, I don’t think it deserves the name.

This pair from Top Man (above) is everything you’d want in a gladiator sandal, and it’s relatively cheap for what you could be spending. Here are some more that I’ve discovered through intense research …
